Ethnic Expressions Dance Theatre

(EEDT) members do not have to adhere to standard colors for their dance attire during their separate rehearsals. Any color leotard is acceptable. However, tights & applicable dance shoes are required at all times.

Street clothes are strictly prohibited – particularly denim as it restricts movement. Only authentic dance attire is permitted in the dance studio!! No patterns/designs on dance attire – solid colors only. Fashionable hair accessories such as beads, hair bubbles, shells and barrettes may cause serious & permanent eye injuries. All hair should be worn neatly off of the face for all dance classes. Post earrings only – no other jewelry should be worn during dance classes, as (CDA) is not responsible for lost/stolen jewelry. Large hoop and dangling earrings may cause torn ear lobes. Please take time to label EVERYTHING. Several students WILL have identical dance attire. Student cell phones should be turned to the off/vibrate position as they enter the studio to eliminate interruptions during class time.
